Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the master’s accelerated program, you must:
Be a current NMSU undergraduate student who has achieved at least junior-level status and be in good standing.
Completed at least 60 hours of coursework with a cumulative GPA of 2.75.
Intend to complete both your bachelor’s and master’s degrees at NMSU.
Each department has unique requirement criteria for master’s degrees — including GPA and letters of recommendation. For more detailed information, visit the graduate program degree page in your area of interest.
Other Registration Requirements
Apply for admission to an accelerated program through the Graduate School application process.
Working with MAP program advisor , register for courses that are level 450 or above.
After completing 60 credit hours, submit a MAP letter of intent.
To qualify for financial aid, MAP courses must count towards your undergraduate degree as electives or core courses.
